The Slice-O-Matic, I saw the commercial on TV and was instantly hooked, couldn’t resist and had to order. Two days later I heard a knock on the door and sure enough it was the delivery man with my handy dandy Slice O Matic.
So how does it work? Well lets first look at a few of the features they claimed in the commercial.
- Thirty point gear system that propels a precision cutting blade
- As easy to use as a toaster
- Can slice a whole bag of potatoes in minutes (“even with a blindfold on”)
- Free replacement for life, if it ever breaks or stops working they
will send you a new one at no cost
Well I can tell you it did have a lot of gears, my eye site isn’t the best so I did not try to actually count all of them, but who cares the cutting power of that thing is amazing. Those blades are extremely sharp, but well hidden away so that you do not have to worry about cutting your fingers. As far as being as easy to use as a toaster, its pretty close, I wold say my toaster is still a little easier only because I do not have to wash it, although maybe I should.
Can it really slice a whole bag of potatoes in minutes? Well why i didn’t try it blind folded I was able to slice up more potatoes than my family could eat and it had to have taken me five minutes at the most from start to finish.
Overall this product is amazing and I have recommended it to all of my friends, I have purchased products from this same company before and they do stand by their free replacement policy.
